Xiaomi, one of the leading Chinese consumer electronics makers, is preparing itself for the launch of the next Pad 7 series devices. The specifications and launch time frame of one of the upcoming tablets have now been tipped.

Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro – Expected Specifications and Launch Time Frame
The previous Xiaomi Pad 6 series consisted of the Pad 6, Pad 6 Pro, and Pad 6 Max tablets, of which the vanilla Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro devices were unveiled in the month of April this year. Four months later, in the month of August 2023, the Pad 6 Max was also released as a larger version of the Pad 6 Pro tablet.
The current update is regarding the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro and is from the Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station. Some of its specifications were also revealed by the tipster previously, early last month, and the recent update aligns with the previous one.
As per what has been shared, the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and will likely be featuring an LCD display panel with a 144Hz refresh rate support. The device has also been tipped to run on the Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin. The other expected features include a 50MP dual camera unit, 67W/90W fast charge support, and a quad-speaker setup.
Regarding the launch time frame, the tablet is expected to have its launch next year, following the debut of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra flagship, suggesting a possible launch in April 2024.
