UBTECH Robotics officially teases U1 series humanoid robots; Will be unveiled on 30 June
The Chinese company UBTECH’s consumer brand UWORLD is all set to introduce its first offering- the U1 series humanoid robots.
U1 Series Humanoid Robots: Officially teased
The company has officially shared the teaser for the upcoming robots. The robots are revealed to feature a large, nurturing-style emotional model, locally encrypted memory storage, and multi-dimensional appearance customisation, while IP collaborations are now officially underway.
As revealed in the teaser, there are two versions: male and female. The male model is showcased in a suit, with well-combed hair and glasses. The female model has long, wavy hair with makeup on her face. The full presentation is scheduled for June 30, but pre-orders for these robots are open via JD.com.
According to JD.com listings, the male model is said to be 183cm tall and weighs 42kg, while the female model stands 168cm tall and weighs 35.2kg. The robots feature 88 degrees of freedom, support WiFi connectivity, and offer 2 to 4 hours of battery life per charge.
UBTECH Robotics has announced that the first pre-orders for its super-bionic humanoid robot have exceeded 2110+ units in just 6 days.
