This 3.1ch soundbar and subwoofer support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, delivering immersive sound, powerful and well-balanced bass from the subwoofer, and a centre speaker tuned for crystal-clear voices. Voice mode for easy speech boost; conversations stay clear no matter the scene.
Users can also pair BRAVIA Theatre Bar 5 with a BRAVIA TV for an unmatched audio-visual experience, immersing you in every scene as never before. The Vertical Surround Engine lends a more realistic, multi-dimensional sound, while the Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) restores high-frequency elements to produce high-quality sound that’s closer to the original recording.
Using front speakers only, Sony’s digital sound field processing technology virtually reproduces the surround sound field, with audio coming at you from both sides. Sony’s unique upmixer delivers rich surround sound even from stereo content. Its innovative algorithm extracts and redistributes individual audio objects to immerse you in 3D sound.
The wireless subwoofer delivers well-balanced, detailed, and powerful low end that enhances both movies and music. The signal processing technology suppresses distortion for clear dialogue and precise imaging.
The BRAVIA Connect smartphone app guides you through initial settings, assists with troubleshooting, and lets you control home, sound field and more. It also notifies you about software updates and allows control of a compatible TV.
