On April 20, Xiaomi will unveil the Xiaomi Pad 6 series of tablets in China. Reports have revealed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will also release in the global market, including India, but the Pad 6 Pro will remain confined to the Chinese market. A Chinese tipster has leaked the RAM and storage configurations of the vanilla model.
According to the tipster, the Xiaomi Pad 6 will arrive in three configurations, such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. There is no word on the price of these variants.
The tipster added that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will house an 11-inch LCD panel with a 2.8K resolution of 2880 x 1800 pixels and a refresh rate of 144Hz. It will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 chipset. The tablet will be backed by an 8,840mAh dual-cell battery that supports 33W fast charging.
Reports have claimed that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will house an 11-inch AMOLED screen with the same resolution as the vanilla variant. It will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset and pack a slightly smaller battery with an 8,600mAh capacity. It is expected to support 67W fast charging.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro will also feature a 50-megapixel dual-camera system. It is unclear whether the vanilla model will have the same camera setup.
