World’s slimmest 5G smartphone with IP68 rating Motorola Edge 40 smartphone launched in India

Finally, after much wait, Motorola has launched its Motorola Edge 40 smartphone in India expanding the “Edge” portfolio. This smartphone is packed with many first-phone claims that make it stand out of the crowd. The phone is touted as the “world’s slimmest 5G smartphone with IP68 rating”.

It is the first phone to feature MediaTek Dimensity’s 8020 SoC. The company has made a difference in the segment, by incorporating wireless charging in it, making it the first in the segment to have this feature.

This phone has been listed on Flipkart and Motorola’s official website. It carries a price tag of Rs 29,999 for a single model with 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. It will go on sale on May 30 on the Flipkart and Motorola websites. Those who want to grab this smartphone can simply pre-order it from Flipkart. Later buyers will be able to order it from other online stores also.
