A month ago a Vivo smartphone with model number V2317A received China’s TENAA certification revealing render images and specifications of the handsets. Now the smartphone has finally been launched in the market as Vivo Y12. Let’s get to know about the smartphone in detail.

The Vivo Y12 4G smartphone comes with a 6.56-inch wide LCD waterdrop notch display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720×1612 pixels. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 processor accompanied by 6 GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB eMMC 5.1 storage expandable via a MicroSD card slot.
In the camera section, it sports a dual camera setup on the rear featuring a 13 MP primary camera complemented by a 2 MP depth sensor and an LED flash. The front side of the handset sports an 8 MP selfie camera. For security it features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock.
It is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 15W charging via a USB-C port. It runs OriginOS 3 based on Android 13 out of the box. The dimensions of the handset are 163.74 x 75.43 x 8.09mm, weighing 186 grams.

The Vivo Y12 4G smartphone is priced at 999 Yuan(~$140) and is available in two color options Wild Green, and Crystal Purple.
