Recently, Vivo announced the Vivo Y100i 5G smartphone in China. The Snapdragon 695-powered smartphone comes equipped with different specs to the Indian version of the Y100. Today, the brand confirmed that it will soon launch a new phone named the Vivo Y100i in the Chinese market. The USP of the device is that it will be one of the most affordable 12GB+512GB smartphone in the market.

The Vivo Y100i is all set to launch on Nov. 28 in China. The company confirmed that the 12 GB RAM + 512 GB storage edition of the device will be priced at 1,599 Yuan (~$220). As the posters reveal, the Y100i will be available in at least two colours, such as blue and pink.

The Vivo Y100i will compete with the likes of the OPPO A2 5G and the Honor X50i+ 5G, which are also affordable phones offering 12GB+512GB configuration. Both smartphones are priced at 1,799 Yuan (~$248).

As far as the specs of the Vivo Y100i are concerned, Vivo hasn’t made anything official yet. It is being said that it could just be a rebranded version of the existing Vivo Y78 t1 smartphone, which is already available in the Chinese market.

Therefore, the Vivo Y100i is expected to feature a 6.64-inch LCD FHD+ display, an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera setup on the back. It will feature Dimensity 6020 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, UFS 2.2 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging.
