During today’s Vivo Next event, the company introduced its latest Vivo V80 and Vivo S2 FE smartphones in the Indian market. We already shared with you the features and pricing details of these devices with you.
In the same event, the brand also launched the Vivo X Fold 6 device alongside OriginOS 7, while Vivo’s first MR headset was also showcased.
Vivo X Fold 6
Features
The X Fold 6 brings OriginOS 7 powered by the Origin Smooth Engine. The productivity features include Origin Workbench, paired with AI Cross-App Drag, Multi-Split screen, desktop mode, cross-ecosystem connectivity, Vivo Office Kit and Jovi. AI Tools include: AI Recorder, AI Captions, Smart Call Assistant, AI Snap Assist, AI File Manager, AI Summary, Split View, and AI Reader.
The device is backed by a 6900 mAh battery that uses 5th-Gen Silicon Anode technology and 3rd-Gen Semi-Solid-State battery technology. It supports 80W FlashCharge and 40W wireless FlashCharge. It features a 200MP Zeiss main camera with OIS, a 50MP Zeiss APO periscope telephoto camera and a 50MP ultra-wide camera at the rear, and there are dual 20MP selfie cameras.
It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 Super Edition SoC paired with 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage. The smartphone features an 8.02-inch main display and 6.51-inch cover display. Both support 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rates with up to 5000 nits local peak brightness.
Other features include: 1+4 communication chipset, IPX8/IPX9/IP5X dust and freeze resistance, 4K 60fps Dolby Vision video, Motion Portrait 2.0, Vivo Imaging Chip V3+, WiFi 7, and Bluetooth 5.4.

The company showcased its First Mixed Reality (MR) Headset. The Vivo Vision Discovery Edition brings together vivo’s capabilities across hardware and software to create more intuitive ways of engaging with digital content, extending experiences beyond the conventional screen.
The Vivo Vision Discovery Edition combines a lightweight, ergonomically optimised form factor with natural eye- and hand-based controls.
