A few days back, we had spotted the Vivo X Fold 6 smartphone on an Italian retailer’s website, which revealed its global specifications and pricing for the EU market. Now, the brand has officially unveiled the device for global markets, and there are a few differences when compared to its Chinese counterpart. While the Chinese model comes with a 7,000mAh battery, the global variant packs a slightly smaller 6,900mAh battery. It also runs on OriginOS 7 Fold out of the box, compared to OriginOS 6 on the Chinese model.

Coming to the display specifications, the Vivo X Fold 6 features a 6.51” AMOLED cover display with a resolution of 2528 × 1120 pixels and an 8.02” AMOLED main display with a resolution of 2504 × 2312 pixels supporting a 1–120Hz refresh rate, 424 PPI pixel density, P3 wide colour gamut, and up to 5,000 nits local peak brightness. The cover display uses Q11 light-emitting material, while the main display uses M14 material.

The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 Super Edition processor, and comes with 12GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, along with extended RAM support of up to 24GB. Storage expansion is not supported. As mentioned, the global variant runs on OriginOS 7 Fold, which is based on Android 17.

About the cameras, a 200MP primary camera, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP periscope camera are offered at the rear, while Two 20MP cameras with f/2.4 apertures are also available for selfies.

Regarding the battery, the global Vivo X Fold 6 packs a dual-cell lithium-ion battery with an equivalent capacity of 6,900mAh, supporting 80W FlashCharge wired charging and 40W Wireless FlashCharge.

The smartphone comes in Black and Blue colour choices, with the Black version featuring a glass-fibre back and the Blue version using a glass back.

Other features include IP58, IP59, IPX8, and IPX9 ratings, a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor, an infrared blaster, and an X-axis linear motor.

Coming to connectivity, dual nano-SIM support with 5G dual-SIM dual-standby, Wi-Fi 7, Wi-Fi 6, 2×2 MIMO, MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 6.0, USB 3.2, NFC, and OTG are offered.

Regarding the pricing, Vivo is yet to share the official details, and the EU launch is scheduled for 27th October 2026, alongside the Vivo X500 series, an over-ear headset, and a pair of TWS earbuds. Coming to the Indian market, a tipster has suggested that the device is likely to launch next week, on 6th October 2026. However, Vivo has not shared any details regarding the same yet.
