Specifications of the Vivo X Fold 2 Tipped
The specifications of the upcoming Vivo X Fold 2 have been tipped by the reliable tipster, Anvin on the microblogging platform, Twitter. The fold-phone was recently showcased at the Boao Forum for Asia and the launch of the Vivo X Fold 2 was previously confirmed by the tipster. We can expect the Vivo X Fold 2 to be launched in the month of April itself.
The Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and will have LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. It is expected that the device will have a RAM of 12GB and an internal storage of 512 GB. The Vivo X Fold 2 is also likely to operate on the Android 13-based OriginOS custom user interface.
It is also expected that the device will feature an 8.03″ AMOLED E6 foldable display which will have a screen resolution of 2160 x 1916 pixels. We can also expect a refresh rate of 120Hz and a brightness rate of 1800 nits. Coming to its cover display, the fold-phone is expected to feature a 6.53″ AMOLED E6 display with a screen resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The cover display is also likely to have a brightness rate of 1600 nits.
The upcoming fold-phone, on its rear, is also going to have a triple rear camera setup with a 50MP IMX866 main camera, a 12MP IMX663 ultrawide angle camera, and a 12MP IMX663 telephoto camera. It will also have the Vivo V2 ISP(Image Signal Processor) processor which will help in optimizing low-light images.
For its battery, the Vivo X Fold 2 is expected to come equipped with a 4800 mAh battery which will support a fast charge feature of 120W and a wireless fast charge feature of 50W.
There is still no clarity regarding the price of the fold-phone and is likely to be revealed at the time of its launch. Vivo might also be planning to launch the Vivo X Flip and the Vivo Pad 2 alongside the Vivo X Fold 2 in its home market, in China.
