Vivo V40 Lite 5G launched in Europe with similar design of Vivo V30e but with no Charger

Just yesterday, we covered the launch of the Vivo V40 5G smartphone in the European market. Now, Vivo has launched another smartphone in the V40 series called the V40 Lite 5G in Europe. The design resembles the Vivo V30e, which was recently launched in the Indian market. It not only shares the design but also carries most specs of the Vivo V30e. However, here’s the catch: the Vivo V30e comes with a charger, while the Vivo V40 Lite in Europe does not. Additionally, the camera configuration has been changed.

Following a similar specs sheet, it comes with a 6.78-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 2400 × 1080 resolution, 1300 nits of peak brightness, and a pixel density of 388 ppi. It features the same Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC paired with an Adreno 710 GPU. Running on FuntouchOS 14 based on Android 14, it includes 8GB + 8GB (Virtual RAM) of LPDDR4X RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card.

Design-wise, it is offered in two colour options: Brown and White. The Brown version has a glass back, while the White version has a plastic back. The Brown version is slightly heavier, weighing around 188 grams, while the White one weighs about 179 grams. Unlike the Vivo V30e, the V40 Lite features a triple rear camera setup on a circular camera module, including a 50MP OIS Sony IMX 882 sensor, an 8MP Ultra-Wide sensor, and a 2MP Macro camera with Aura Light featuring dual colour temperature and LED flash. The front has a 32MP HD selfie camera.

It packs a 5500 mAh battery supported by 44W fast charging. Furthermore, connectivity options include Dual-SIM with E-SIM, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, WiFi 5, USB 2.0, and FM Radio. It also offers IP64 dust and water splash protection, along with an in-display fingerprint sensor.
