Vivo V29 Lite 5G, Vivo Y78 5G spotted on Google Play Supported Devices list, launch imminent

Two new upcoming Vivo phones have appeared in the Google PlaySupported Devices list. While the Vivo V29 Lite 5G has appeared with model number V2244, the Vivo Y78 5G has been spotted with the same model number.

It appears that the V2244 Vivo phone may arrive with the Vivo V29 Lite 5G and Vivo Y78 5G monikers in different markets. Unfortunately, there is no information available on the specifications of these smartphones.

In the past, the entry-level models in the Vivo V-series, like the Vivo V27, Vivo V25, Vivo 23, and Vivo V21, had the letter “e” in their names, like the Vivo V27e, V25e, V23e, and V21e. However, it appears that the starting model in the Vivo V29 series could be called the Vivo V29 Lite 5G.

It is advisable to wait for further reports to know the specifications of the Vivo V29 Lite 5G and Vivo Y78 5G. The Vivo Y78+ with model number V2271A is also an unannounced smartphone. It was recently spotted at Chinese certification sites with a 5,000mAh battery and 44W fast charging support.

In related news, Vivo is expected to hold a mega launch event on April 20 in China. The event will likely see the arrival of at least three devices, such as the Vivo X Fold 2, Vivo X Flip, and Vivo Pad 2.
