Back in June of this year, we had covered the Vivo T5e and Vivo Y05e smartphones being spotted on the Google Play Console platform, where both devices were found sharing several similarities. Vivo later launched the Vivo Y05e in South Africa a few weeks ago, and now, its rebranded version has made its debut in the Indian market as the Vivo T5e 4G in a single memory configuration.

Vivo T5e – Specifications and Features
As per Vivo India’s official launch announcement, the newly launched Vivo T5e smartphone arrives in two colour choices of Shadow Grey and Aero Blue. The device features a composite-material rear panel and a matte-finished frame.
For its display, the Vivo T5e features a 6.74″ HD+ screen supporting a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The display also supports Sleep Comfort Mode and intelligent brightness adjustment for a more comfortable viewing experience.
Under the hood, the smartphone uses UNISOC’s T7225 octa-core processor and comes in a single memory configuration of 4GB/64GB. It supports up to 4GB of extended RAM, offering users a combined RAM capacity of up to 8GB. Storage expansion of up to 2TB is supported as well.
Coming to its battery, the Vivo T5e packs a 5,500mAh battery supporting 15W fast charging and reverse charging. The battery is claimed to retain its health for up to four years and offer up to 18 hours of online video playback, 47 hours of music playback, 13.5 hours of social media usage, and 28 hours of voice calling.
The device also features Battery Life Extender, which is designed to provide emergency usage when its remaining battery level reaches 1%. Other battery-related features include Super Battery Saver Mode, Adaptive Battery Saver, Sleep Standby Optimisation, and Multi-Dimension Charging Protection.
Speaking about its cameras, the Vivo T5e sports an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. AI Cutout and Vivo’s document-scanning enhancement feature are also supported.
The smartphone runs on the Android 16-based OriginOS 6 operating system and comes with AI Creation features for summarisation, translation, and rewriting. Vivo DocMaster is present on the device as well, offering additional tools for viewing and managing documents.
For durability, the Vivo T5e comes with an IP64-rated dust and splash-resistant body and military-grade durability. Vivo has also offered a reinforced cushioning structure around its key internal components, whereas Wet-Hand Touch and Greasy-Hand Touch allow users to operate the screen with wet or oily fingers. A side-mounted fingerprint sensor is also equipped for device security.
Pricing and Availability
The Vivo T5e has been launched in a single 4GB/64GB memory configuration carrying a price tag of INR 13,999. Its sale is currently live through the Vivo India online store, Flipkart, and Vivo’s partner retail stores across the country. Stay tuned for more updates!
