Vivo Pad 3 receives 3C certification ahead of rumoured launch in March

Vivo is reportedly planning a large-scale launch event in China in March. The event is likely to see the introduction of four new products: the foldable phones Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro, the Vivo X1100s smartphone, and the Vivo Pad 3 tablet. Before the expected launch, these devices are likely to obtain approvals from Chinese certification platforms. The X Fold 3 has already secured approval from China’s radio certification platform. Additionally, the flagship tablet has been granted 3C certification, potentially revealing its fast charging specifications.

Vivo Pad 3 3C certified

The above screengrab shows that the 3C authority has approved a new Vivo tablet bearing the PA2473 model number. Usually, the 3C certification reveals two things: whether it’s a 4G or 5G device and the charger (along with charging speed) that the device will ship with.

The certification suggests that the Vivo Pad 3 may not offer cellular connectivity. However, it reveals that the device may ship with a 66W fast charger.

As per reports, the Vivo Pad 3 will have an LCD panel of 13 inches, which will support 3K resolution. Under the hood, the device will feature the Dimensity 9300 chipset. At present, there is no information available about the other specs of the device.

Some reports claim that there could be an OLED panel version of the device. However, there is no concrete evidence to support this claim.
