Vivo has announced a new Y-series smartphone in India, called the Vivo Y31T 5G, making it the third model in the Y31 series after the Vivo Y31 5G and Vivo Y31 Pro 5G. The device has currently been listed on the brand’s official Indian website, revealing its complete specifications and features.

Vivo Y31T 5G – Specifications and Features
Starting with its design, the Vivo Y31T 5G arrives in Crimson Red, Seashore Green, and Golden Mist colour options. The smartphone measures 166.64 × 78.43 × 8.39mm in dimensions and weighs 219g, while it features a composite plastic sheet back. It also comes with a side-mounted capacitive fingerprint sensor and carries IP68 as well as IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
For its display, the smartphone features a 6.75″ LCD panel with a 1608 × 720 pixel resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, 83% NTSC colour gamut, and up to 1250 nits HBM brightness. The display supports capacitive multi-touch, whereas local peak brightness support is not offered.
Under the hood, the Vivo Y31T 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor and the device is offered in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 256GB memory configurations. It uses LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage, along with support for 4GB or 6GB of expandable RAM depending on the variant. However, expandable storage is not supported.
Coming to its battery, the Vivo Y31T 5G packs a large 7,200mAh typical battery and supports 44W wired charging. The smartphone runs on OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box.
For photography, the device carries a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 2MP bokeh camera with an f/2.4 aperture, along with an LED flash. On the front, users get an 8MP selfie camera with an f/2.05 aperture.
Regarding connectivity, the Vivo Y31T 5G supports dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, USB 2.0, USB Type-C, GPS, and OTG. NFC and FM radio support are not present. For navigation, the device supports GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS.
The smartphone also comes equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, E-compass, gyroscope, and conventional motor, while a colour temperature sensor is not supported.
As for its network capabilities, the Vivo Y31T 5G comes with dual nano-SIM support and Dual SIM Dual Standby functionality.
Currently, the Vivo Y31T 5G has been listed on Vivo India’s official website; however, its exact pricing and availability details are yet to be announced by the brand. These details will likely be revealed in the coming days.
