Tecno Pop X 5G with 6500mAh Battery, 45W Fast Charging, Aerospace Grade 6 Series Aluminium Camera Deco Launching in India on April 20th

Following the launch of the Tecno Pop X 4G smartphone, the brand has now confirmed that its 5G variant will soon be making its debut in the Indian market via Amazon. Along with the launch date confirmation, a few of its key specifications have also been revealed through the official microsite.

As per the details shared on the Amazon microsite, Tecno is marketing the upcoming device with the tagline “The Game Changer”. Speaking about its design, the smartphone will feature a horizontal pill-shaped camera module that extends across both edges of the rear panel, housing two camera sensors and an LED flash unit. The camera deco is also said to be built using Aerospace Grade 6 Series Aluminium.

Under durability and endurance aspects, the device is revealed to come with MIL-STD-810H certification, offering protection against accidental drops of up to 1.5 meters. It is also pointed out to have an IP64-rated dust and water resistant build.

On the battery side, the smartphone will pack a 6500mAh battery and support 45W wired fast charging. Additionally, it will offer up to 18GB of extended RAM, and as per the fine print, it will be available in 4GB RAM with 8GB extended RAM and 6GB RAM with 12GB extended RAM options, thus confirming two RAM variants for the device.

Other revealed features include support for up to 8X network speed with URSP and AI Noise Cancellation for improved call clarity by filtering background noise. At the moment, the chipset details have not yet been disclosed, however, with the launch now scheduled to take place on the 20th of April 2026 at 12 PM, more information is expected to be revealed soon.
