As announced earlier, Sony has today officially introduced its latest Sony Xperia 10 VIII to the global market.

Sony Xperia 10 VIII: Features

The smartphone sports a 6.1-inch OLED display that offers FHD+ screen resolution and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 8GB of RAM (+ up to 6GB virtual RAM) and 128GB of storage. It runs on Android 15 OS, while the company has promised 4 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates.

The device features a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera on the rear side, while on the front it sports an 8MP selfie camera. It is backed by a 5000 mAh battery and supports up to 30W fast charging. The smartphone measures 153 x 72 x 8.3mm and weighs approximately 168g.

It comes with front-facing stereo speakers with enhanced stereo separation and vocal clarity for media playback. Users can hold and press the instant capture button on the side of the device to launch the camera. The device boasts a transparent design, while the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.

Other features include: Bluetooth 5.4, IPX5/IPX8 waterproof rating, IP6X dustproof rating, dual SIM, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, 3.5mm jack, Hi-Res Audio wireless, LDAC, 360 Reality Audio, three focal lengths, Bokeh mode, Look function, Video Creator, Point & Pay Menu feature, SD card slot, Google AI, Xperia AI, and environmentally conscious product manufacturing.

Sony Xperia 10 VIII: Availability

The smartphone comes in Frozen White, Frost Gray and Misty Lilac colours. It is priced at 599 Euros/ 549 GBP and will roll out in Europe and the UK starting from mid to late September.
