Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Series Wi-Fi Models Spotted on the IMDA Certification Website

The South Korean-based multi-national consumer electronics manufacturer, Samsung is expected to unveil its latest tablet devices of its Galaxy Tab S9 series at the company’s Unpacked Event scheduled to take place this month in Seoul, South Korea.

Ahead of the official launch, the Wi-Fi-only models of three of its upcoming tablet devices have been certified by the IMDA certification authority of Singapore.

Galaxy Tab S9 Series IMDA Certification

The Galaxy Tab S9 series devices which include the Galaxy Tab S9, Galaxy Tab S9+, and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra have appeared on the IMDA certification platform with model numbers, SM-X710, SM-X810, and SM-X910 respectively. All the devices are listed as lower-power devices with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

No other details about the upcoming tablet devices have been mentioned on the IMDA certification platform.

To date, all of the Galaxy Tab S9 series devices have appeared on multiple certification platforms and databases, and with each of its certifications and official appearances, the devices are moving closer and closer to its launch. It is expected that the devices will have their launch on the 26th of July 2023, the same day on which the Unpacked Event is likely to commence.

Regarding its design, previously the 5K renders of the Galaxy Tab S9+ tablet were shared online, which gave us an idea about the other tablets of the series and on comparing it to the previous models, the Galaxy Tab S9 series devices won’t be that different from its predecessors and is likely to retain the same design specs with small changes.

All the tablet devices are also likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and the Geekbench listing of the Galaxy Tab S9+ and the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra confirms it. The upcoming devices are also going to be faster than their predecessors as suggested by previous reports.
