As earlier announced, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has today officially introduced its Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition smartphone.

Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition: Features

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. It sports a 6.77-inch Curved AMOLED display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 3200 nits peak brightness, 3480Hz PWM Dimming and DCI-P3 wide colour gamut. The display comes with TUV Rheinland certifications for Low Blue light, flicker-free and circadian-friendly.

It runs on Xiaomi HyperOS 2 with Android 15. The company has promised 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches. The device is backed by a 5800mAh battery and supports 45W Turbo charging (charger is included in the box). It packs a 50MP Light Fusion 400 main camera and a 2MP depth camera on the rear side, while on the front it sports a 20MP selfie camera. It comes with a 7.35mm thin body and weighs 178g.

Other features include: AI Face Unlock, in-screen fingerprint sensor, nano SIM 1+ hybrid (nano SIM or microSD), dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.1, dual speakers with 300% volume boost, Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res, IP65+IP66, IR blaster, multifocal camera setup, high definition 4K recording, AI Group Selfie cam, AI Imaging Assistant, Smart Charging 2.0 and MIL-STD-810H certification.

Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition: Availability

The device comes in Frosted White, Crimson Reserve and Carbon Black. The official sale will start on 7th April via mi.com and Flipkart.
