Redmi K70 Pro variants (23117RK66C, 23113RKC6C) bags 3C certification, fast charging capabilities revealed
Earlier this month, the Redmi K70 with model number 2311DRK48C was spotted in the database of the 3C certification platform. Now, two new Redmi devices with model numbers 23117RK66C and 23113RKC6C have emerged in 3C’s database. These variants are said to be associated with the upcoming Redmi K70 Pro.
Redmi K70 Pro receives 3C certification
The 3C certification of the 23117RK66C and 23113RKC6C variants shows that both models may ship with a Xiaomi power adaptor (model number: MDY-14-ED) that offers 120W fast charging. Hence, it appears that both variants will offer 120W wired charging.
The Redmi K60 Pro came with support for 30W wireless charging. However, the rumours surrounding the K70 Pro claim that it will lack support for wireless charging. The 3C certification of the Redmi K70 series is a good hint that the Redmi K70 and K70 Pro will debut as early as next month (November) in China.
The Redmi K70 Pro variants, such as 23117RK66C and 23113RKC6C, have been previously spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The 23117RK66C model was spotted with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, whereas the 23113RKC6C variant was spotted with the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset. Hence, there is a possibility that there could be two chipset variants of the K70 Pro.
The Geekbench listings of these K70 Pro variants revealed that they will come equipped with 16 GB of RAM and Android 14. There is a possibility that the K70 series will also have the HyperOS, which will be first introduced on the Xiaomi 14 series, which is set to launch on Oct. 26.
