Redmi K100 Pro Max confirmed to feature Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC and dedicated graphics chip D2

Yesterday, Redmi officially announced that its Redmi K100 Pro series will be launching in the Chinese market on 11^th August. Pre-orders for the series have already begun in the country, and the brand has also started teasing its features.

Today, Redmi has shared new features of the Redmi K100 Pro Max on Weibo.

Redmi K100 Pro Max: New features revealed

The Redmi K100 Pro Max, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, achieves a 4.555 million AnTuTu score, challenging the highest performance score on the same platform with its second-generation 3nm process, PC-level architecture and dual super-core power engine. The device is also equipped with an AI-powered dedicated graphics chip, D2.

It features Xiaomi’s first 185Hz high refresh rate gaming screen, enabling fast camera rotation, smooth combos and high-frame-rate start-ups for more freedom of control. Native optimisation for 30+ popular games delivers a super-luxurious 185fps gaming experience, while 10 top-tier games support native 165fps.

The Redmi K100 Pro series debuts with 185+ FPS+ ultra-HD mode in CrossFire: Gunfight King, allowing for fluid aiming and snipping with pinpoint accuracy. Equipped with Qualcomm QAPE 5.0 performance adaptive engine, it precisely adjusts CPU usage based on game load, achieving ‘frame salvage.’

The Redmi K100 Pro Max comes with a flagship touch chip that offers a 4800Hz instantaneous touch sampling rate and a 480Hz ten-finger sampling rate. Esports network optimisation reduces game latency: 7 gaming antennas ensure an unobstructed signal from the dual Xiaomi Surge T1+ signal enhancement chip when held horizontally. Meanwhile, Sound by Bose gaming tuning enhances gunshots and footsteps by 200% for a perfect gaming experience.
