Redmi K Pad Launched in China with 8.8″ 3K Display, 700 Nits Brightness, and Dimensity 9400+

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched its latest tablet, the Redmi K Pad, in its home country, China. The Redmi K Pad is a performance-focused tablet featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ flagship chipset. It adopts a centrally positioned SoC thermal management structure, which enhances heat dissipation efficiency and lowers temperatures by up to 4°C. For cooling, it uses a 12050mm² aluminium vapour chamber (VC), the largest VC used in any Xiaomi device so far.
The tablet is equipped with an 8.8-inch 3K LCD display with a resolution of 403 PPI, offering a 165Hz refresh rate. It also boasts 700 nits peak brightness and multiple levels of factory colour calibration for accurate visual output. The display is compact enough for single-handed use and designed to fit easily into a bag or jacket pocket.
In terms of build, the Redmi K Pad comes with a unibody all-metal chassis, crafted using ultra-fine sandblasting technology. It includes a thin micro-curved middle frame and a minimalistic “DECO” rear camera design. The tablet is available in three colours: Dark Grey, Silver Moonlight, and Cloud Mountain Green.
Powering the device is a 7500mAh battery with support for USB-C charging and Surge charging enhancement. Audio is delivered through a quad-speaker stereo system, rated at up to 80.2 dB, and arranged symmetrically for improved balance. Additionally, it includes a dual X-axis linear motor setup to offer precise haptic feedback during gaming and multimedia use.
The Redmi K Pad also supports cross-platform functionality, allowing for smart office features, cloud gaming, and multi-device sync with Apple ecosystems.
