Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi introduced its Redmi 17 5G smartphone at the beginning of this month in the Indian market, and now the brand is heading towards another Redmi 17 series device in the country: Redmi 17C 5G.

The Redmi 17C 5G smartphone will be launching in India on 1st October, 2026. The microsite for this device has been made live on Xiaomi India’s website, which reveals some of its key details.
The smartphone will feature an all-new Astral Camera Deco design. The square camera module houses a camera sensor and an LED flash. It will arrive in Dark Night, Coffee Brew, and Purple Dawn colours. The brown variant features a leather rear panel. The power and volume buttons are present on the right side of the device, while the SIM slot is placed on the left side. The front panel features a waterdrop cutout for the selfie camera.
The device is backed by a 6000 mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging (charger in the box). It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. The smartphone packs a 50MP AI Dual rear camera and an 8MP selfie camera. It sports a 6.9-inch immersive display that offers a 120Hz AdaptiveSync refresh rate.
