Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi will be unveiling its all-new Redmi 14C 5G smartphone globally as well as in India on 6th January 2025. The smartphone is already confirmed to be available via Flipkart and mi.com. Other than these two platforms, the smartphone will be available via Amazon as well.

The listing reveals the same details as earlier revealed. Xiaomi’s Redmi 14C 5G is claimed to be the ‘segment’s number 1 5G entertainer’, with 5G + 5G SIM support, lag-free video calling, fast downloads, uninterrupted gaming, smooth live-streaming, and up to 2.5Gbps speed. Moreover, it will be featuring the Premium Starlight Design, with three color choices – White, Blue, and Black.
Other details like display, performance, camera, and durability will be revealed by the brand in the coming days. As per reports Redmi 14C 5G will be launched as the rebranded version of Redmi 14R 5G that made its debut in China in September 2024. The designs of both devices are similar and the same is expected in terms of specs and features of both smartphones.
Redmi 14R 5G: Specifications
The Redmi 14R 5G smartphone features a 6.88 inch wide 1640×720 pixels resolution display with 600 nits of peak brightness, touch sampling rate of 240Hz, and supports DC dimming, rhythmic eye protection, and wet hand touch. It is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 256GB storage and up to 8GB RAM. In the camera department, the smartphone has a 13MP main camera on the rear and a 5MP camera on the front. It is backed by a 5160mAh battery that supports 18W charging. Its dimensions are 171.88mm, 77.8mm, and 8.22mm.
