Realme P4R 5G Launched in India with Dimensity 6300 SoC, 8000mAh Battery, 2+3 Years of Software Updates, and More

Finally, after releasing several teasers and being part of multiple rumours, the Realme P4R 5G smartphone has now officially been unveiled in the Indian market. The newly launched handset is claimed to be the segment’s biggest 8000mAh battery smartphone, and it also brings features such as a 144Hz display, MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, 45W fast charging, AI Pulse Light, military-grade durability, and Realme UI 7.0.

Realme P4R 5G – Specs and Features

With a massive 8000mAh typical battery, Realme claims that the device can offer up to three days of power on a single charge, and it also comes with a 7-year battery health claim. Additionally, the smartphone supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging, along with all-scenario bypass charging, one-tap cooling, and up to 6.5W reverse charging.

Speaking more about its battery usage claims, the Realme P4R 5G is said to offer up to 12.5 hours of Free Fire gameplay, up to 157.4 hours of music playback, up to 26.9 hours of navigation, and up to 21.6 hours of YouTube playback.

Coming to the display, the smartphone features a 6.81″ (17.30cm) LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1570 × 720 pixels, a 90.4% screen-to-body ratio, up to 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 180Hz touch sampling rate. The display supports 16.7 million colours, 254 PPI pixel density, 83% DCI-P3 in Vivid mode, and 100% sRGB in Natural mode. The device also offers 975 nits typical brightness and 1200 nits HBM brightness. Realme is claiming it to be the segment’s brightest 1200 nits 144Hz display smartphone.

Under the hood, the Realme P4R 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, paired with the ARM Mali-G57 MC2 GPU clocked at 1072MHz. The device comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Also to note, storage card support and USB OTG support have been given. The smartphone also features a 5300mm² vapour chamber cooling system, and Realme is highlighting it with “zero lag, zero heat” claims.

The smartphone runs on Realme UI 7.0, and the company has promised 2 major OS upgrades with 3 years of security patches for this device. As per the brand, the device offers 15% faster daily response, 29% smoother app scrolling, and 22% smoother loading on heavy apps with the UI 7.0 Flux Engine.

For cameras, the Realme P4R 5G sports a 50MP dual AI rear camera setup. Also, the main rear camera has an f/1.8 aperture, 75° field of view, 5P lens, and autofocus support. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera is given.

Notably, the Realme P4R 5G also comes with AI features such as AI Portrait Glow, AI Eraser, Gemini, Gemini Live with screen share, and AI Select & Search. The Gemini Live screen share feature lets users talk about anything they see by sharing their camera during a Gemini Live conversation.

Another highlighting feature of the device is the AI Pulse Light. It offers nine colour options and five speed options, and it can sync with beats on Spotify and YouTube Music. The light can also be used for gaming and special call alerts.

Speaking more about durability, the Realme P4R 5G comes with an IP65 rating and has passed the military-grade shock resistance test with MIL-STD 810H certification. The device measures about 16.64cm in height, 7.82cm in width, and 0.88cm in thickness, while it weighs about 224 grams.

5G support, dual SIM support, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, Beidou, A-GNSS, WLAN positioning, and cellular network positioning are its connectivity options. The device does not support eSIM or NFC.

Realme P4R 5G – Pricing and Availability

The Realme P4R 5G has been launched in India in three storage variants – 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 256GB – priced at INR 18,999, INR 20,999, and INR 22,999, respectively. The smartphone has been introduced in three colour choices – Silver Glare, Lavender Glare, and Titanium Glare.

Moving on to its availability, the open sale will begin on 17th June at 12 PM via Flipkart, Realme India’s official website, and other major retailers. As part of the launch offers, buyers will be able to get an instant flat INR 2,000 discount via bank offer, or they can opt for a 3-month no-cost EMI option.
