After much anticipation, Realme has finally confirmed the launch of the Realme 12 Pro series in India. The series has already bagged certifications from TENAA, SIRIM, Indian BIS, and TDRA websites. As per the recent teaser released by the company, it will be launched in India in January month. It is set to feature a rare periscope telephoto lens that it has been teasing for a while.

This is not the sole reason to get excited because Realme is also tipped to launch a special co-branded edition. Recently it shared a sketch of a smartphone’s camera module and watch sketch saying “Be ready to carry the touch of luxury”. It didn’t specify about the collaboration or special edition in the post and asked users to guess about it.

Realme Global page also shared a post announcing the Realme Design Studio and International Luxury Watch Designer collaboration for the Realme 12 Pro 5G series. Similar to its Realme India page it didn’t specify even there. However, a poster is surfacing online that claims Realme 12 Pro Rolex Edition can be the one that it’s teasing about. The poster shows the incorporation of watch elements in the smartphone’s design, specifically the camera module. It also shows that this special edition smartphone can come with a leather back for a touch of elegance and luxury.
Expected specs
The Realme 12 Pro can be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset while the 12 Pro+ can be powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. As per the reports Realme 12 Pro+ will feature a 64 MP OmniVision OV64B camera for 3x optical zoom shots. Realme 12 Pro will come equipped with a 32 MP telephoto camera for 2x optical zoom shots. Apart from these features, a lot has already come out through its TENAA listing in China.
