Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300e SoC and 10,200mAh Battery, Vivo Y600 Pro Officially Unveiled in China

Long before its official launch, Vivo had been teasing the specs of the Vivo Y600 Pro smartphone in the Chinese market. Now, the device has finally been unveiled in the country.

Vivo Y600 Pro – Officially Unveiled in China

The Vivo Y600 Pro smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e chipset and it is integrated with the Mali GPU. LPDDR5 dual-channel RAM and UFS 3.1 internal storage are also coupled within the device. The device is said to achieve an AnTuTu benchmark score of around 930,000 points. Additionally, it runs on the OriginOS 6 custom skin based on the Android 16 operating system. Several features such as follow application on/off, network acceleration, three-way positioning enhancement (Wi-Fi + cellular + GNSS), enhanced hands-free calling, automatic brightness increase, extended automatic screen lock time, helmet unlock, and simplified mode 2.0 for senior citizens are also supported.

Coming to its display, a 6.83″ AMOLED display screen is featured on the device and it supports a 1.5K resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels. Moreover, Vivo Y600 Pro comes with multiple refresh rate support such as 60Hz/90Hz/120Hz, and offers 1.07 billion colours with a cinema-grade wide colour gamut. Adding more to this, it is SGS Low Blue Light Eye Protection certified and supports 4320Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming. Several display modes including motion sickness visual aid, AI sleep mode, game eye protection, and fatigue resistance brightness mode are also present.

Notably, being the successor to the Y500 Pro 5G (China) smartphone, it brings certain upgrades such as a larger display which has been increased from 6.7″ to 6.83″. However, it is equipped with a slightly inferior chipset compared to its predecessor which featured the Dimensity 7400 processor.

On the camera side, a 50MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture and auto focus is given at the rear, supporting up to 10x digital zoom. For selfies, there is a 32MP front-facing camera with full focus and 2x zoom support. Both the front and rear cameras also support EIS image stabilisation for videos.

Regarding the battery specs, a 10,200 mAh Blue Ocean battery (up to 16.7 days standby time, 6-year lifespan) is given on the device, and supports a 90W wired fast charging feature along with OTG reverse charging. Features such as universal power supply 2.0, healthy charging algorithm, and 24-hour recharge protection are also given.

IP68/IP69-rated dust and water resistance, three-layer waterproof structure, wet hand touch support, Global Augmented Communications 3.0 with 360° through-wall antenna, E1 communication enhancement chip, NFC, infrared remote control, vehicle contactless unlocking, 3810mm² VC liquid cooling system, dual stereo speakers (3x external volume), 8.15mm–8.25mm thickness, and 221g–223g weight are its other added features.

The device comes in four colour choices and Chinese customers can get it in Floating Gold, Star Purple, Vast Blue, and Bright Moon Black colours. About its pricing and availability details, the device is offered in five storage variants – 8GB/128GB (CNY 2099), 8GB/256GB (CNY 2299), 8GB/512GB (CNY 2599), 12GB/256GB (CNY 2599), and 12GB/512GB (CNY 2899), and it is currently available for purchase via the Vivo China website and other retail channels in the country.
