Just recently, POVA teased the launch of a new smartphone in the Indian market, which we suspected to be the POVA 8 Pro 5G. Well, now, through a new teaser shared by POVA India, it has been officially confirmed that the POVA 8 Pro will be launching in India soon.

POVA 8 Pro India Launch Confirmed
According to the latest information shared by the brand, the POVA 8 Pro is all set to break cover in the Indian market on August 18th 2026. Along with confirming the launch date, the brand has also given us another look at the design of this upcoming smartphone.
In the teaser, the smartphone can be seen in three different shades, including green, white and another greyish-blue-looking finish. However, the exact names of these colour options have not yet been revealed for the Indian market.
For reference, the global POVA 8 Pro is available in Tundra Green, Arc White and Graphite Black colour options.

Another major design highlight already confirmed for the Indian variant is the Alive Matrix Display at the rear, which is placed alongside the camera module. The brand has also teased a flat metal frame and a contrasting orange-finished button on the side.
Apart from this, a dedicated microsite for the device does not appear to be live on Amazon India or Flipkart at the time of writing, so its complete India-specific specifications and pricing are still under wraps.
Speaking of its specifications, we can expect the Indian variant to share several features with the global POVA 8 Pro. The global model comes with a 6.78″ HyperLux AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, 50MP OIS main camera, 8MP ultra-wide camera, 13MP selfie camera and a 6,500mAh battery with 45W charging support.
Now that the August 18th launch date has been confirmed, we expect POVA to gradually reveal more specifications and features of the upcoming POVA 8 Pro in the coming days.
