Just a few days ago, Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO teased the Indian launch of its all-new POCO M8x 5G smartphone and the microsite for this device was also made live on Flipkart, confirming its availability via the e-commerce platform.
Today, POCO has officially announced the launch date of the POCO M8x 5G, and some key details of this device have also been teased.

The smartphone will make its debut in India on 21st August at 12 PM. This will be India’s first Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 SoC-powered device.
The chipset is claimed to deliver next-gen AI capabilities with faster responsiveness, smoother gaming, and 43% faster app launches. It is built with 4nm process technology. The device comes with a 650K+ AnTuTu score.
Further, the POCO M8x 5G offers up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM (including 6GB virtual RAM) and UFS 2.2 storage. It is teased to run multiple heavy apps without lag and with faster responsiveness.
The device boasts triple cooling technology: 12,439mm2 ultra-large graphite cooling (efficiently spreads heat across the device), 1924mm2 copper foil layer (enhances heat dissipation from critical components) and 3.5W high-efficiency thermal gel (improves heat conduction between chipset & cooling layers). It is optimised for 48 months of lag-free usage.
POCO is expected to share some more details related to the POCO M8x 5G in the coming days, while the complete specs and pricing details will be revealed on 21st August.
