POCO F7 Officially Debuts in Global and Indian Markets, Featuring Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 Chip, 6.83″ 1.5K 120Hz Display, and 6500/7550 mAh Battery
The much-awaited POCO F7 smartphone has now made its official debut following the March 2025 launch of the POCO F7 Pro and the POCO F7 Ultra devices. It has been introduced both globally and also in the Indian market.

POCO F7 – Officially Debuted
The latest POCO F7 smartphone as expected makes use of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip, integrated with the Adreno 825 GPU, and it runs on the Android 15 based HyperOS 2 custom skin. Two storage models are available for the device, and customers will be able to purchase it in 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage options (LPDDR5X RAM + UFS 4.1 storage). It also has a 6000 mm² 3D dual channel IceLoop system too for heat dissipation.
A 6.83″ AMOLED display screen is featured on the device, supporting 1280 x 2772 pixel resolution (1.5K) and 120Hz refresh rate. 3840Hz PWM dimming, 3200 nits peak brightness rate, 447 PPI pixel density, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision are other display related specs. Additionally, the display is also protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
About its cameras, at the rear, a 50MP primary shooter with OIS support and an 8MP ultra-wide camera have been given, and for selfies, a 20MP front-facing camera is present within a centrally-placed punch-hole unit.
Regarding its battery, the global variant of the device carries a battery backup of 6500 mAh, whereas the Indian variant packs a larger battery of 7550 mAh. For a faster charging experience, a 90W wired fast charge support is given, along with a 22.5W reverse wired charging feature.
Design-wise, the brand claims it to be an exquisite flagship design with a glass back and metal middle frame. Furthermore, the device is IP68 dust and water resistant, and is capable of withstanding submersion in water of up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. Notably, it is 8.2 mm thin and weighs only 215.7 gm, and offers 140% improved frame strength and 70 kg bend resistance. Three color variants are also available for the device: Frost White, Phantom Black, and Cyber Silver (Limited Edition).
Pricing and Availability
In the Indian market, the 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB storage options are listed on the Flipkart shopping platform at INR 31,999 (actual list price – INR 35,999) and INR 33,999 (actual list price – INR 37,999). As part of the launch, the device can be purchased at an effective starting price of INR 29,999 with offers like flat INR 2,000 instant back discount or INR 2,000 exchange benefit. No-cost EMI option of up to 12 months, 1-year additional warranty, and 1-year screen replacement are also available with the device. The first sale is scheduled to take place on the 1st of July 2025, at 12 PM noon.
For global customers, the POCO F7 smartphone can be purchased for early bird prices of USD 339 and USD 399 respectively for the 12GB/256GB and 12GB/512GB.
