Poco F6 Pro NBTC certified, likely to launch soon

This year, Poco has already launched two smartphones, such as the Poco X6 and X6 Pro, in different markets. It is speculated that the Poco X6 Neo may debut as early as next week in India. A new development suggests that, after the X6 Neo, the company may introduce the Poco F6 series of smartphones.

Poco F6 Pro NBTC

As can be seen above, the Poco F6 Pro, bearing the 23113RKC6G model number, has received approval from Thailand’s NBTC authority. The certification is a good hint that its launch may not be far away.

To recall, the Poco X6 Pro was approved by the NBTC in November and the X6 was certified by it in December. Both phones went official in January. Hence, it is likely that it may debut in April or May. This year, several smartphones launched around a month earlier than their predecessors from last year. While the Poco F5 series was announced in May 2023, the Poco F6 lineup may likely break cover in April.

To recap, the Poco X6 Pro was a rebranded version of the Redmi K70e. It is speculated that the Poco F6 Pro could be a repackaged edition of the Redmi K70. The reason behind this speculation is that the China-exclusive K70 has the model number 23113RKC6C. Hence, it appears that the global version of the same device with a similar model number 23113RKC6G will be called the Poco F6 Pro when it arrives on the market.

The Poco F6 Pro is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED 120Hz display that offers a 2K resolution. It will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. It will feature a 16-megapixel front camera and a 50-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit on the back.
