The Chinese smartphone maker – OPPO following the November 2024 release of the previous Reno 13 series is expected to unveil the next Reno 14 series next month in May 2025 and now, the brand has officially teased the upcoming series. A few other added details have also been shared along with it.

OPPO Reno 14 Series x Song Yuqi – Officially Teased in China
As per the update shared via OPPO’s official Weibo handle, this time Song Yuqi who is known as a Chinese singer, song writer, dancer, record producer, and a member of the (G)I-DLE, has been selected as the face for the upcoming Reno 14 series. A mermaid-theme has been adopted for the Reno 14 series, and ahead of its official launch, the brand has announced that it will be running promotional installations in three cities – Chengdu (at Dongjiao Memory from 1st to 14th May 2025), Chongqing (at Eling Second Factory from 1st to 14th May 2025), and Changsha (at Chaozong Street from 1st to 28th May 2025).
Also to add, a chance to win a brand new Reno 14 smartphone as well as ten exclusive Yuqi-themed gift packs have also been announced as part of the campaign – for check-ins from 1st May to 7th May, 2025 . To note, even though the launch date hasn’t yet been confirmed, it is likely to take at the mid-half of May 2025.
Based on updates, the Reno 14 series is believed to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipset and run on the Android 15 based ColorOS 15 custom skin. Quite recently, the Reno 14 smartphone image was also leaked online, which had pointed out the new barrel lens arrangement, triple rear camera system, large R-angle design, aluminum alloy side frame, and White color choice.
In the coming days, more teaser updates can be expected from the brand’s side concerning the Reno 14 series and with which, we will be able to confirm its official launch date as well as its specs and other features. Stay tuned until then.
