OPPO has launched its latest Reno13 Series in India, introducing the Reno13 and Reno13 Pro smartphones. The series has also made its way to the Malaysian market, where an additional model, the Reno13F 5G, was unveiled – suggesting a potential future F-series launch in India. Just like how Reno 12F 5G was launched in India as Oppo F27 5G.
Oppo Reno 13 Series Specs
The new Reno13 Series showcases advanced camera capabilities powered by GenAI features. The Reno13 Pro boasts a triple camera setup (50MP+50MP+8MP) with a 3.5x telephoto lens, while the base Reno13 features a 50MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide, and 2MP monochrome camera. Both devices support dual 4K video recording from front and back cameras.
Built with durability in mind, the series features an aerospace-grade aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The phones carry IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications, ensuring protection against dust and water submersion up to 1.5 meters. The Pro variant measures 7.55mm in thickness and weighs 195g, while the standard Reno13 is even slimmer at 7.24mm and lighter at 181g.
Display technology sees significant improvements with the Pro variant sporting a 6.83-inch Infinite View Display featuring four-sided micro-curves and a 93.8% screen-to-body ratio. The standard Reno13 comes with a 6.59-inch screen. Both devices offer 120Hz Smart Adaptive 1.5K OLED ProXDR displays with 1,200 nits peak brightness.
Under the hood, the series debuts with the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, featuring enhanced power efficiency and gaming capabilities. Battery life is robust with the Reno13 Pro packing a 5800mAh battery and the standard variant featuring a 5600mAh cell, both supporting 80W SUPERVOOC charging.
The series runs on ColorOS 15, introducing features like Tap-to-Share for iOS compatibility and various AI-powered productivity tools including AI Summary, AI Rewrite, and Extract Chart. The phones also support Circle to Search with Google and include the Google Gemini app.
Pricing and Availability:
The Reno13 Pro 5G starts at ₹49,999 for 12GB+256GB and ₹54,999 for 12GB+512GB. The Reno13 5G is priced at ₹37,999 for 8GB+128GB and ₹39,999 for 8GB+256GB. Sales begin January 11th, 2025, with various bank offers and EMI options available through mainline retail outlets, OPPO E-store, and Flipkart. Customers can also enjoy 6 months of liquid damage protection and a ₹3,000 exchange bonus.
