Oppo F29 Series 5G officially confirmed to launch in India on 20th March; Mircrosite goes live on Amazon

Oppo was rumored to launch Oppo F29 Series 5G this month but there was no official confirmation regarding the same. Today Oppo has officially announced that Oppo F29 series 5G will be making its debut in the Indian market on 20th March at 12 PM.

The landing page for this upcoming series has been made live on Amazon confirming the availability of the series via the e-commerce platform. The brand has not revealed the moniker of the device but previous reports suggest that Oppo F29 5G and Oppo F29 Pro 5G smartphones could be launched under the series.

The above poster reveals the devices in Purple and White color options. Recently the first look of Oppo F29 surfaced online which is similar to the White color variant in the above image. Oppo F29 series is revealed to arrive with IP66/IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance, drop resistant 360 degree Armour body, and has passed 14 extreme tests.

Oppo F29 Series 5G: Previously revealed details

Oppo F29 is expected to arrive equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chip and is said to feature an AMOLED display with a 6.7″ screen size, FHD+ resolution, and 120Hz refresh rate. It is also believed to pack a 6500 mAh large battery and support an 85W wired fast charging feature. The device is probably going to be made available in the Indian market at a price range of between INR 25,000 and INR 30,000.

Meanwhile, the Oppo F29 Pro has been spotted on Bluetooth SIG and BIS certification websites. In the coming days, Oppo is expected to tease some more details about this upcoming smartphone series. Stay tuned with The Tech Outlook for more updates.
