Looking at the overall specifications of the two devices, it is hard to title one among the two as the best, as both the smartphones have their pros and cons.

Speaking about the performance offered on the two devices, Apple’s iPhone 12 smartphone offers the best performance than the OPPO A58 5G smartphone. The OPPO A58 5G is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset and has a primary clock speed of 2.2GHz whereas the iPhone 12 device is powered by the brand’s own A14 Bionic chipset with a faster primary clock speed of 3.1GHz.

For the displays, the iPhone 12 device features a Super Retina XDR OLED display while the A58 5G smartphone from OPPO has an IPS LCD display panel. Even if OPPO’s smartphone has a larger screen size, the iPhone 12 offers a more higher screen resolution. Just to add, the OPPO A58 5G smartphone has a refresh rate of 90Hz.

Now coming to the cameras, both the devices have a dual camera setup at its rear with the OPPO smartphone having the best main camera of 50MP. The Apple iPhone 12 in comparison has a 12MP main camera, however has a 12MP ultrawide camera as well. Instead of the ultrawide camera, the OPPO smartphone has a 2MP depth camera. Apple’s smartphone also has a better front facing of 12MP to offer while the A58 5G smartphone from OPPO has an 8MP selfie camera.

Finally regarding the battery backups, OPPO’s A58 5G smartphone has the best battery backup of 5000 mAh in comparison to the 2815 mAh battery that powers the Apple device. The OPPO smartphone also supports the fast wired fast charge feature as well but lacks wireless charging capabilities that are supported by the iPhone 12 smartphone.

Now for the final verdict, for a person who wants better performance and a premium feel on a smartphone device, the Apple iPhone 12 might be the best smartphone for them. However, the OPPO A58 5G smartphone is the right smartphone for a person who needs a device with good specs and a decent battery, at the same time which also comes in a budget price point.
