Oppo A5 Pro with 6.67″ HD+ 120Hz display, Dimensity 6300 SOC, IP69 protection launched in India
OPPO has launched the A5 Pro 5G in India, positioning it as a durable and performance-driven 5G smartphone. The device features an IP69-rated waterproof and dustproof design with a 360° armour body and supports 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging. With a focus on enhanced connectivity and performance, the A5 Pro 5G integrates a 200% network boost with an all-round antenna system and AI LinkBoost 2.0 for superior signal strength. It also includes an outdoor mode and AI GameBoost with VC cooling to deliver a smooth and responsive experience in every environment.
Specifications and Features
The OPPO A5 Pro 5G sports a 6.67-inch HD+ display (1604 x 720 pixels) with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits peak brightness. Corning Gorilla Glass 7i provides screen protection. OPPO powers the phone with a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 6nm chipset, which includes two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores running at 2GHz, alongside a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
It offers 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and comes with either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The phone runs Android 15 with ColorOS 15 and supports dual SIM cards.
On the back, the A5 Pro 5G features a dual-camera setup with a 50MP main sensor (f/1.8 aperture) and a 2MP monochrome sensor (f/2.4 aperture) with LED flash. An 8MP front-facing camera with an f/2.0 aperture handles selfies. The phone includes a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security.

OPPO has rated the device with IP66, IP68, and IP69 certifications for dust and water resistance. For connectivity, it supports 5G SA/NSA (n1/n3/n5/n8/n28B/n40/n41/n77/n78), Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and USB Type-C. A 5800mAh battery powers the phone, and OPPO supports it with 45W SUPERVOOC fast charging.
Pricing, Offers, and Availability
OPPO has priced the A5 Pro 5G at Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and Rs. 19,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. Buyers can choose from Feather Blue and Mocha Brown colours. The phone is now available through Amazon, Flipkart, the OPPO Store, and major offline retailers.
