OPPO A2 5G – TENAA Listing

The Chinese smartphone maker, OPPO, had launched two new smartphones in its A2 series – the OPPO A2 Pro and OPPO A2x, and a third smartphone of the series, the OPPO A2m, was listed on the China Telecom website. The vanilla OPPO A2 5G smartphone with model number – PJB110, has now made its appearance on the TENAA database of China, revealing its renders and specifications.

The render images revealed via the database give us an idea about the design language of the smartphone. It has a flat display and a flat rear panel. The display features a centrally aligned punch-hole camera, and the rear panel has a rectangular-like camera module, with the OPPO branding at the bottom.

Speaking about its camera module, it houses two circular camera rings, with the first ring having the main camera, and the other with the secondary camera. There is also an LED flash to the right of the camera rings as well.

The side panels are flat-edged and are slightly curved to their sides. The volume rocker and the power button are placed on the right-side panel, and the power button is also a fingerprint scanner.

Now coming to its revealed specifications, the smartphone will be a 5G device powered by a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor, and will likely run on the Android 13-based ColorOS 13 custom skin. The device will be offering two RAM options of 8GB and 12GB, and three internal storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.

The smartphone will have dimensions of 165.6 x 76 x 7.9 mm, weighing 193 grams, and will feature a 6.72″ LTPS LCD display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels(FHD+). To add, the display will also support 16 million colors.

Coming to the cameras, a primary shooter of 50MP and an additional 2MP camera(likely a depth sensor) are given at the rear, and for selfies, an 8MP front-facing camera.

The device will also be backed by a 5000 mAh battery, however, nothing about its fast charge capabilities has been mentioned. To note, the already launched A2 Pro and A2x devices feature 67W and 10W wired fast charge supports, respectively.

As far as its launch is concerned, no official updates from OPPO have arrived till now, but the smartphone is expected to debut in the Chinese market on the 11th of November next month, on the day of the Double Eleven shopping festival.
