OPPO A18 launched in India with new Storage option of 128GB : Priced ₹11,499

The Chinese smartphone maker, OPPO introduced the A18 smartphone to the Indian market early this month, but only the 4GB/64GB model was made available. Now, after more than a week, the brand has unveiled the 4GB/128GB model of the smartphone for Indian customers.

About the OPPO A18 Smartphone

OPPO’s A18 smartphone is powered by the Helio G85 chipset from MediaTek and runs on the Android 13 based ColorOS 13.1 custom user interface. The device also has the Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, and as of now, two storage variants are available in India – 4GB/64GB & 4GB/128 GB.

For its display, the smartphone has an IPS LCD display panel of 6.56″, a screen resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, and a 90Hz refresh rate support.

At its rear, the device has a dual camera setup with an 8MP main camera and a 2MP depth camera. For selfies, there is also a 5MP selfie camera.

Regarding the battery, the smartphone packs a decent 5000 mAh battery, however, it doesn’t have fast charge support.

Other specs include 4G network connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac with dual-band support, Bluetooth 5.3, 300% ultra volume mode, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The new 4GB/128GB storage variant has been introduced for a price of Rs. 11,499, and just to mention, the 4GB/64GB model is still listed for the same price of Rs. 9,999. Customers can get the device in two color choices – Glowing Black and Glowing Blue. As per Oppo’s official website, the product shipment will start from October 25th 2023.
