The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus recently started pre-orders for its upcoming OnePlus Ace 7 smartphone series in its home country, China. This series is expected to make its debut in the country soon.
Today, OnePlus China President Li Jie Louis has shared some details related to the OnePlus Ace 7 series fan design.

The OnePlus Ace 7 series comes with an active cooling design that is better suited for landscape gaming.
- Dual airflow outlets: One directs air toward the chipset, while the other directs air toward the back cover. This solution is introduced for the first time by OnePlus.
- A well-designed air intake layout prevents fingers from blocking it during gameplay.
- Hot air is expelled upwards, avoiding fingers and preventing hot air from interfering with operation.
- Cool air blows over the back cover, helping to reduce hand stuffiness and minimise the impact of sweat.
As per Li Jie, it may seem like just a difference in airflow design, but the actual gaming experience is significantly different. Blocked air intakes can reduce cooling effectiveness, while hot exhaust blowing towards the fingers can make extended sessions uncomfortable.
The brand seems to be attempting to address both problems through airflow placement rather than relying solely on lower chipset temperatures.
