The much-awaited OnePlus 16 flagship has now been launched in the Chinese market, alongside the smartphone, the brand has also introduced a new power bank, magnetic mini cooler, and an aramid-fibre magnetic case. While a few tipsters have pointed to a possible Indian launch, its global and Indian launch plans are yet to be officially confirmed.

OnePlus 16 – Specifications and Features
About the display, the OnePlus 16 smartphone features a 4th Gen Oriental Screen with custom X4 luminescent material and an LTPO panel which supports up to a 165Hz refresh rate across supported system scenarios, while compatible games will be able to make use of up to a 185Hz refresh rate.
Additionally, the display offers a 2000nits Global Peak Brightness, 3840Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, hardware-level low-blue-light support, sunlight viewing, and AI-based eye-comfort features.
The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chip and features the Fengchi Gaming Core. The phone also come equipped with three dedicated gaming chips — a G3 network chip for reducing network latency, the P4 display chip for high-frame-rate output, and a T3 touch chip for improved touch response.
Regarding its cooling system, the OnePlus 16 comes with an Ice River cooling system featuring a partitioned cooling design. Graphene with a thermal conductivity of 2,100W/m·K is also used.
Coming to the cameras, its rear camera module houses a 200MP main camera (1/1.4″ sensor, f/1.6, OIS), a 50MP periscope telephoto camera (1/1.95″ sensor, 3x optical zoom, OIS), and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. A 50MP front camera is given as well.
The LUMO imaging system, LUMO native light-and-shadow engine, and LUMO colour science are also part of the device.
A 9,000mAh Glacier Battery is equipped within the smartphone, and it supports 100W SuperVOOC wired charging and 50W wireless charging.Furthermore, 27W wired reverse charging, wireless reverse charging, full-scenario bypass charging, and a Glacier Battery energy-management chip are offered too.
On the software side, the ColorOS 17 custom skin is offered, featuring the Polar Light Engine and Tide Engine for system animations and performance, along with a fluid interface design.
Other key specs include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with master tuning, an X-axis linear vibration motor, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings, n79 5G band support, tri-frequency GPS, and quad-frequency BeiDou positioning. Black Forest, Tomorrow’s Starlight, and Mars Survival are its colour options.

While the Pre-orders are now open starting today, it’s sales will begin on the 13th of October 2026 at 10 AM in China. One detail to add here is that the launch pricing will be applicable from the 12th of October to the 13th of November 2026.
OnePlus Accessories – Features and Pricing
About the OnePlus SuperVOOC 67W Pocket Charge Power Bank, it packs a 10,000mAh battery and supports a maximum 67W SuperVOOC output, along with 45W PD and 55W PPS charging. Up to 40W input charging is supported, and compatible laptops can also be charged using it. An integrated USB-C cable and a TFT colour display showing the battery level, charging power, and estimated remaining time are given as well.
The power bank is priced at CNY 229, while its bundle price is CNY 199. It will be made available from the 21st of October 2026.
Moving on to the OnePlus magnetic mini cooler, it features a compact card-sized design and a TEC cooling chip, and can draw power from a smartphone or power bank. Low-power and low-noise operation, an anti-condensation design, ColorOS X Mode support, and magnetic attachment with an adapter ring are its other features. It is available immediately at CNY 199, with a bundle price of CNY 169.
The OnePlus 16 aramid-fibre magnetic case is approximately 1.3mm thick and features an aramid-fibre construction, a metal-effect camera ring, and a built-in magnetic array. Compatibility with the OPPO magnetic-accessory ecosystem is also offered. The case is available immediately at CNY 199, while its bundle price is CNY 169.
