OnePlus 16 confirmed to arrive with new AI Notes, new AI Photo Editor and IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating

The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus will officially introduce its latest OnePlus 16 smartphone next week, on 12^th October. The brand has already started teasing the details of this upcoming device.

Today, the company has shared some new features of the OnePlus 16 smartphone via the Weibo platform.

OnePlus 16: New features teased

The smartphone supports 100W wired flash charging and 50W wireless flash charging. It is the first to support tri-frequency GPS+ quad-frequency Beidou. The OnePlus 16 is equipped with Oppo Crystal Shield Glass, a new high-performance X-axis vibration motor, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and master symmetrical stereo dual speakers,

It comes with an IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K rating and supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 and the n79 high-frequency band. The device debuts with ColorOS 17 and boasts features like:

• New AI notes: PPTs, audio recordings, courseware, notes, etc. can be generated into graphic notes with one click.
• Oppo Share Cross-Ecosystem interconnection: Share files with your phone by tapping. Connects to Watches, Macs, and Windows computers.
• New AI Photo editor: Allows you to perfectly replicate and optimise reference images with just one sentence and a single click, delivering images at lightning speed and doubling your efficiency.
