OnePlus 15 confirmed to be equipped with Lingxi touch chip and G2 Gaming network chip

The Chinese manufacturer OnePlus will be officially launching its OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 smartphones in its home country, China, on 27th October. The company has already started teasing the key features of these upcoming devices.

Today, OnePlus has revealed some more gaming and display features of the OnePlus 15 smartphone.

OnePlus 15: New teasers out

The OnePlus 15 features the Lingxi touch chip, achieving Android’s first touch-display synchronization. The chip provides 3200Hz instantaneous sampling rate, 330Hz single finger sampling rate/five finger sampling rate, 290Hz ten-finger sampling rate, touch stability is improved by 37.5% and sliding accuracy is improved by 46.16%.

The device is equipped with the all-new G2 gaming network chip, delivering a complete upgrade in both cellular and WiFi. The proprietary, in-house developed cellular network Independent Chip Computing Unit that intelligently enhances cellular signal based on grip posture. The chip significantly improves WiFi radio frequency performance. It offers 63% increase in wireless gaming signal strength, 100% boost in low frequency signal strength and 30% reduction in lag during weak-signal gaming.

The gaming network chip provides ultra-high WiFi transmission power with 60% WiFi receiving performance improvement, 50% WiFi antenna efficiency improvement, 60% WiFi network competition ability improvement and 30% reduction in lag during weak WiFi gaming.

The smartphone features same-grade linear motor as gaming consoles. The industry’s highest in-game sampling rate of 200Hz improves accuracy by 77% reducing latency and zeroing errors across the board. It provides 60% reduction in vibration start-up delay and 11% reduction in vibration stop delay.

Other than this, the OnePlus 15 features an exclusive in-house developed Glacier chip air conditioning architecture, significantly reducing the temperature of the chip’s core area, industry’s first Glacier supercritical aerogel, a space-grade insulation material, effectively isolating fingertips from heat. It features the industry’s first Glacier VC cooling made of ultra-thin hand-tearable steel that dissipates heat twice as fast, the industry’s first Gaming Hand Cooling model covering ten key temperature zones, and the industry’s first Inter-Game Recharge feature doubles charging speeds between games.
