Nubia Fold With Snapdragon 8 Elite, Nubia Flip 3 With Dimensity 7400X, and Nubia S2 With Unisoc T8100 Officially Unveiled in Japan

The Chinese consumer electronics maker – Nubia has brought out three of its latest smartphone models for its Japanese customers. Two of them will be released in the country tomorrow, while one is scheduled for release next month.

Nubia Fold (A502ZT)

Nubia’s Fold horizontal-folding flagship smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and it is equipped with the Android 15 operating system. 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB UFS storage are also coupled within the device, and it packs a 6560mAh large battery backup with a charging time of 70 minutes (thanks to the 55W wired fast charge support).

At the rear, a triple camera system consisting of a 50MP wide-angle camera, 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and 5MP macro camera is present. On the main and cover displays, 20MP front-facing cameras have also been added. About its display specs, an 8″ OLED main display supporting 2480 x 2200 pixel resolution and a 6.5″ OLED cover display supporting 2748 x 1172 pixel resolution are being offered.

On the connectivity side, 5G network, WiFi 7 (2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz), and Bluetooth 6.0 are supported. IPX4-rated water-proof + IP5X dust-proof protection, fingerprint scanner, and face recognizer are also added specs. In terms of size, when closed, it measures 73 x 160 x 11.1 mm, and when opened, it will be as large as 144 x 160 x 5.4 mm. The device will also be weighing approximately 249 gm, and a Black color choice will be offered for it.

The Nubia Fold is set to release on the 4th of December 2025 (tomorrow), and will be made available for Japanese customers. To add, a campaign is also live for this device, and winners will be able to get a free original smartphone case.

Nubia Flip 3 (A505ZT)

About the Nubia Flip 3, it uses MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400X chip, and has the Android 15 operating system onboard. It comes in 6GB/128GB storage option, and has a battery backup of 4610mAh.

For its display, a 6.9″ organic EL screen has been featured which supports 2790 x 1188 pixel resolution. It also has a 4″ cover display supporting a resolution of 1200 x 1092 pixels. Regarding its cameras, a 50MP (wide-angle) + 12MP (ultra-wide-angle) dual rear camera system and a 32MP selfie camera are given on the device.

5G network (nano SIM + eSIM), WiFi 6 (2.4GHz, 5GHz, 6GHz), and Bluetooth 6.0 are the supported connectivity specs. Additionally, IPX4 water-proof + IPX5 dust-proof rating, fingerprint scanner, and face recognizer are also being offered on the device. It measures 170 x 76 x 7.5 mm (closed – 87 x 76 x 15.9 mm) in size, and has a total weight of approximately 187 gm. Black and White are the available color choices.

As per what has been shared, the release of the Nubia Flip 3 will only be taking place during mid-January 2025. This means customers wanting to buy this device will have to wait for one more month.

Nubia S2 (A504ZT)

Regarding the Nubia S2, it equips the Unisoc T8100 chipset, and has the Android 15 operating system out of the box. 6GB/128GB storage option is being offered for the device, and it has a battery capacity of 5100mAh (charging time – 63 minutes).

A 50MP (wide-angle) + 5MP (ultra-wide-angle) dual rear camera system and a 16MP front-facing camera are featured on the smartphone. It also has a 6.7″ TFT display too, supporting a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+).

The device also comes with 5G network (nano SIM + eSIM), WiFi 5 (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and GPS connectivity. IPX5/8/9 water-proof + IP6X dust-proof protection, MIL-STD-810H shock resistance, fingerprint scanner, face recognizer, 3.5mm headphone jack, and up to 1TB expandable storage support are other added features. Dimension-wise, the device has a size of 77 x 167 x 8.0 mm and it has an approximate weight of 189 gm. Color choices of Black, White, and Lavender are available for the device.

Just like the Nubia Fold, the Nubia S2 will also be released tomorrow on the 4th of December 2025. Customers will be able to get the device tomorrow itself in Japan.
