Nothing Phone (4b) with Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC and Glyph Bar launched in India and global markets

Yesterday, Nothing finally introduced its Nothing Phone (4b) smartphone globally, as well as in the Indian market.

Nothing Phone (4b): Features
The smartphone comes with a Glyph Bar and unibody design. It boasts an IP64 rating, with the ability to withstand up to 25cm of water for 20 minutes. The device arrives in White, Blue and Black colours, while there is also a Phone (4b) RCB edition (India exclusive) in Red colour with bespoke RCB branding and collector’s edition packaging.
The Glyph Bar features 45 individually controlled mini-LEDs with brightness of up to 3,500 nits. It provides notifications, charging progress, recording indicators, and personalised alerts with exceptional clarity.
It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC built on an advanced 4nm process. Paired with Qualcomm’s 6th Generation AI Engine, it accelerates on-device AI across photography, voice recognition, and the full Essential AI tools. The device comes with a 4400mm2 vapour chamber, and it supports up to 90 FPS in BGMI and CODM, and 120 FPS in titles such as Subway Surfers and League of Legends: Wild Rift.
The Nothing Phone (4b) features a 6.77-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 1000Hz instant touch sampling rate, 1200 nits outdoor brightness, and 2000 nits peak brightness, with HDR10+ support. It is backed by a 5200 mAh battery (global)/ 6000 mAh battery (Indian), and for the first time on a Nothing phone, a single charge can last up to 2 full days. The phone supports 33W fast charging, and it can be fully charged in just one hour.
Coming to the camera section, Phone (4b) features a 50MP OIS main camera that supports 4K video at 30fps, paired with a 360-degree ambient light sensor and an 8MP ultrawide camera. It sports a 16MP selfie camera. The device runs on Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16, and the company has promised 3 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches.
Other features include: Nothing TrueLens Engine 4, Ultra XDR imaging, dual video capture, built-in reflection remover, 7 new Nothing watermarks, 3 brand-new camera filters, dual stereo speakers, 160-level volume control, new Depth Effect for lock screen, new Soundscape Widget, real-time updates in Live notifications, ChatGPT, Gemini, Circle to Search, Hey Google, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 6, eSIM (Japan) and Essential Key.
Nothing Phone (4b): Availability
In the global market, pre-orders have already started and the open sale will start on 17th July. The 8/128GB variant is priced at £299 / €329.
In India, the Phone (4b) goes on sale on Flipkart from 14th July, while it will be available via Croma, Reliance Digital and Vijay Sales from 17th July. The RCB Edition was available via the drop event at Nothing Store Bengaluru.
