So when we picked up the news of a new Realme P series smartphone being spotted on Flipkart’s microsite, many were guessing it could be the Realme P5 series. But now, confirming all odds, the next Realme P series smartphone is going to be named Realme P4 Power 5G.

This information comes from Francis Wong, who is Realme’s Global Head of Product Marketing. In a post on X, he mentions that some key details about this smartphone, and yes, it is going to be a battery-centric smartphone.

In his post, he mentions why a bigger battery is a “mAAAAAhssive edge”. Now on the Flipkart microsite, it also mentions a “smAAAH-rtphone”, which could mean it is coming with a bigger battery.

Further, the same post claims that a single charge can last up to 1.5 days, while the phone remains pocket-friendly with a weight of just 218g. It also promises maximum refresh rate performance for smooth usage, along with stable FPS and cool performance even when the battery drops to 10%.

The device is said to support bypass charging, allowing users to play while plugged in with zero heat. It also offers a 27W reverse charging feature and promotes long-term durability with an “8 years guaranteed” longevity claim.

Another poster mentions the line, “It’s mAAAAAhssive inside. Minimal outside,” suggesting powerful internals with a sleek exterior. It visually compares it with a compact power bank, implying equivalence in capability. The graphic further claims that the device achieves a 100% reduction in thickness and a 25% reduction in weight compared to its predecessor Realme P3 Power.

Now this could definitely be the same smartphone that was picked up in the rumour mill earlier, which had the model number RMX5107, where the battery capacity was shown as 10,001mAh, along with Realme UI 7, 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage.

In related news, the same device with the model number RMX5107 has also been spotted on India’s BIS certification platform, which further suggests that the launch could be nearing.
