Motorola X50 Ultra Confirmed To Make Its Debut In China On 16th May

The Motorola Edge 50 series consisting of Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Motorola Edge Ultra and Motorola Edge 50 Fusion has been officially unveiled in the global markets. The Pro model has also made its way in India and recently the brand has announced to launch of Motorola Edge 50 Fusion in India on 16th May.

Not only this we also spotted Motorola Edge 50 Ultra on India’s BIS certification website which suggested that this model will also be coming soon in India. According to a previous report, it was revealed that Motorola Edge 50 Ultra will be arriving as Motorola X50 Ultra in China and the brand has also teased the launch of Motorola X50 Ultra in China a few days back.

The launch date of Motorola X50 Ultra is finally disclosed by the company. Motorola X50 Ultra will be launching in China on May 16th at 19:00 (local time in China).

As revealed by the poster image, the smartphone will be arriving with AI capabilities while the smartphone is also revealed to arrive in a Beige color option. Since the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra also arrives in Black and Peach Fuzz color options other than the Beige variant, the same is expected from the upcoming Motorola X50 Ultra.

Also since the upcoming device is said to be the repackaged version of Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, both smartphones are expected to feature the same specifications.

Motorola X50 Ultra: Specifications (expected)

The device may feature a 6.67-inch wide pOLED display that comes with a 144Hz refresh rate, and 2500 nits of peak brightness. It could be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is expected to run on Android 14-based Hello UI.

In the camera department, the smartphone is believed to include a 50MP primary rear sensor, with OIS support, a 50MP secondary sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP telephoto shooter with up to 3x zoom. The front side of the smartphone may feature a 50MP selfie camera. It could be backed by a 4500mAh battery that supports 125W wired and 50W wireless charging.
