Many leaks have surfaced regarding the upcoming smartphone called Edge + 2024(North America), which is speculated to be a repackaged Edge 50 Ultra. However, information about the Edge 2024(North America) remains scarce. Now, a new revelation has emerged from tipster Evan Blass, who shared this update via the X platform. According to him, Motorola is gearing up to introduce a new aka old smartphone in the US market, dubbed Edge 2024.
To my surprise, Evan claims that Motorola may opt for the Edge 40 Neo from last year as the rebranded Edge 2024 for the North American market. If you recall, Edge 2023 was also launched with the same chipset as that of the Edge 40 Neo. The Edge 40 Neo boasted more memory, a larger battery, and even UFS 3.1 compared to the Edge 2023, which had UFS 2.2.

If this leak turns out to be true, then the Motorola Edge 2024 may debut with the MediaTek Dimensity 7030, while the Edge Plus 2024 may feature the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. Apart from being a rebranded version of the Edge 40 Neo, Evan didn’t share any details regarding its launch timeline or what other specs it may have.
