Motorola Razr 40 will be the marketing name of Razr Lite, claims Blass

Popular tipster Evan Blass revealed that Motorola’s flip phones with the codenames “Juno” and “Venus” will be released this year. The Juno variant is expected to arrive on the market as the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra. In some markets, it is likely to be called the Razr+ 2023. Earlier this month, MySmartPrice published a report to share the CAD renders of Motorola’s affordable flip phone, dubbed the Razr Lite, that had surfaced online. A new tweet by Blass has revealed the final marketing name of the Lite model.

According to Blass, the Razr Lite will be called the Motorola Razr 40 when it arrives on the market. Unfortunately, there is no information available about the specifications of the Razr 40.

The CAD renders of the Razr 40 seem to feature a foldable phone with a punch-hole design. The back panel of the phone device will feature a small cover screen, which will be capable of minimal information, such as notifications, a clock, and a date.

The Motorola Razr 40 will feature a dual-camera system on the back. For security, it seems to be equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Motorola Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra are expected to launch on June 1 in the global market. The Chinese wing of the brand has already started teasing the Razr 40 Ultra. Hence, it seems that it may launch first in China before releasing it to the global market.
