Motorola Edge 70 with Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and 6.67″ pOLED Super HD Display Launched in the UK
Motorola, following the launch of the Moto X70 Air in China, has now officially released its global variant, the Motorola Edge 70. The company is positioning it as an ultra-thin smartphone measuring just 5.99mm in thickness and weighing approximately 159 grams. However, the crown for the slimmest smartphone still remains with the Tecno Pova Slim 5G, which stands marginally thinner at 5.95mm.

Motorola Edge 70 Specs and Features
Just like the Moto X70 Air, it features a 6.67″ pOLED display offering Super HD (2712×1220) resolution, up to 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Pantone Validated colours, Pantone SkinTone validation, and a peak brightness of 4500 nits.
Under the hood, the Motorola Edge 70 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset paired with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB uMCP12 internal storage. It ships with Android 16 and is confirmed to receive four years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates, supported until June 2031.
The phone uses a silicon-carbon 4800mAh battery with 68W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The handset measures 159×74×5.99mm and weighs 159g. It features Gorilla Glass 7i on the front, an aircraft-grade aluminium frame, and a nylon-inspired silicone rear finish with IP69/IP68 protection and MIL-STD-810H durability rating.
The rear houses a dual-camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro capability and a dedicated 3-in-1 light sensor. On the front, there is a 50MP camera with 4K video support.
Connectivity options include 5G sub-6, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB-C, and dual SIM support (nano + eSIM).
Pricing and Availability
Motorola has launched a single 12GB plus 512GB variant of the Edge 70 in the UK, priced at £699.98. It will be available in three Pantone colour options of Lily Pad, Gadget Grey, and Bronze Green.
The brand also confirmed in its press release that the smartphone will expand to other European markets and the Middle East in the coming weeks, followed by additional regions globally.
