Moto X70 Air launched in China with 6.7″ 1.5K OLED display, Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, and ultra-slim 5.99mm design

Motorola has officially launched the Moto X70 Air in China, and the same model is expected to debut globally on 5th November 2025 under the name Motorola Edge 70.

Moto X70 Air Specs and Features

As the name Air suggests, this is Motorola’s slimmest smartphone yet, measuring just 5.99mm thick and weighing 159 grams. However, the title for the world’s slimmest smartphone still remains with the Tecno Pova Slim 5G.

The Moto X70 Air features a 6.7″ 1.5K OLED flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 4500 nits peak brightness. The screen is HDR10+ certified and also comes with SGS low blue light and anti-flicker certification for eye protection. For durability, the phone uses Gorilla Glass 7i protection and offers IP68 + IP69 dust and water resistance. Its frame is made from aerospace-grade aluminium alloy.

Under the hood, the X70 Air is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, paired with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on Android 16 out of the box.

On the rear, the smartphone sports a dual-camera setup featuring a 50MP Samsung GNJ main sensor with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide macro lens with a 120° field of view. For selfies, there’s a 50MP front camera.

It packs a 4800mAh battery built with a 3.61mm ultra-thin Supermarine 2.0 cell. It supports 68W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Motorola claims the phone can deliver up to 27 hours of video playback or 35 hours of 5G call time. It includes a custom 0.35mm 3D VC cooling plate that ensures stable performance during intensive gaming or multitasking.

The Moto X70 Air also features dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support for an enhanced audio experience. Additionally, it comes with a dual-antenna NFC design, allowing card swiping from the front, back, or top of the device, even when the screen is off.

The Moto X70 Air supports Super Interconnect 3.0, Motorola’s full ecosystem connectivity platform. You also get tons of AI features like AI Vision, AI Notes, AI Translator, and more.

Pricing and Availability

It is available in three colour options of Linghui Grey, Qingqiao Green, and Yinglu Green (translated from Chinese). It is available on the company’s official China website in a single 12GB + 512GB variant, priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately ₹33,667).
